Fernando Peña Serrano (tío abuelo materno de la participante). Eminente matemático y físico, fue director de la Escuela de Montes en los años 50. Fue también vocal del Patronato Alfonso el Sabio del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC). Según las propias manifestaciones de Albert Einstein con ocasión de las conferencias que dio en Madrid sobre su Teoría de la Relatividad, se encontraba el profesor Peña entre los pocos que habían podido seguir sus explicaciones desde el principio hasta el fin.
